2009 Makasan
Pre-School Camp
The program will be a activity-centered camp with fine and gross motor activities including story time, literacy, science, math, art, music, and healthy habits.
The children will be from ages 3 – 5 and may have a parent or older sibling with them at camp. We will be staffing for about 20 – 25 children.
We will be feeding the campers breakfast, snack and lunch each day.
We will need staff members to supervise free play and station activities. We would also like to have one or two staff members to serve as one-on-one staff for children with special needs.
This camp will run Monday – Thursday mornings.
There will be an afternoon program that will focus on infant/toddler/parent education. A family supper will be a part of this event.
Our main sight seeing day will be the last Friday with other afternoon and evening activities and trips. The Oglala Nation Powwow is held during this first weekend of camp.
