2009 Makasan
Teen Camp
This camp will be small in number with about 25 campers.
The Community Atlas/GIS project will utilize the computers and will have a leader and an assistant to help with road trips for this small group of students. We hope to have college students from the Oglala Lakota College to serve as mentors for our campers as they work on this project.
The staff members for this camp will be doing a lot of one on one and small group activities such as Community Work Projects and Leadership Project.
The camp will run Monday – Thursday with a flexible start and end time for each day.
We will need a staff of 14 -16 people for this camp.
Our main sight seeing day will be the first Saturday with other afternoon and evening activities and trips.
