2009 Makasan
Elementary Camp
This camp is our largest camp with 50 campers.
The camp serves a breakfast snack and lunch each day and we would like to have a camp cook.
The camp will need a staff of 10 counselors to help the 5 camper groups at each of the learning stations. Each station is 30 minutes in length.
We will need station leaders for Story Telling/Reading, Art, Math, Technology and Games and Sports.
We will need 4 van drivers to pick up the campers and return them home each day. Van drivers will also serve as counselors or station leaders.
The camp will run Monday - Thursday from about 9:00 - 12:30.
We will need a staff of 16-20 people for this camp.
We will be attending the Oglala Nation Powwow on our last evening.
Our main sight seeing day will be the first Saturday with other afternoon and evening activities and trips.
